TATTOO AFTERCARE

You will need:

- antibacteria/plain soap (e.g. Protex)

- aftercare ointment or cream (e.g. Bepanthen Plus)

Keep second skin foil on your tattoo for about 48h. During this time your fresh tattoo might be oozing. Therefore underneath the foil a little bit of plasma, blood and excessive ink may occur.

After 48h remove second skin under running, warm water. Clean your tattoo with antibacterial soap and pat it dry with paper towel, then moisturise it by applying a thin (!) layer of an ointment. Distribute it evenly on your tattoo. Don’t cover your tattoo.

You will need to clean and moisturise your tattoo for 2 weeks. Be sure to do it at least twice a day - in the morning and in the evening before going to sleep. I recommend to moisturise your tattoo during the day as well (2-3 times). It helps skin regenerate and soothes in case of itching.

After few days your tattoo will start to peel to get rid of punctured epidermis. Don’t scratch your tattoo or pick these little flakes of epidermis. It will peel itself in a few days.

For at least 24h after getting a tattoo:

- Don’t drink alcohol or take blood thinners.

For 2 weeks:

- Don’t soak your tattoo in water for too long (take quick showers, avoid baths)

- Avoid intense physical exercises

- Don’t swim in pools, lakes, rivers, seas

For 1 month:

- Don’t expose your tattoo for direct sunlight - for 2 weeks cover it with breathable clothing or avoid exposition, after 2 weeks apply sunscreen on your tattoo (with broad spectrum UVA + UVB and high SPF - 30 or 50)

Your tattoo will be fully healed (including deeper layers of skin) and settled after about 4 weeks. After this time you will be able to observe a final appearance of your tattoo.

Send me a photo of healed tattoo after 2-4 weeks, please. It’s very important for me to see how my tattoos look healed. Moreover I will be able to tell if tattoo requires any correction. I do touch-ups for free up to 3 months after getting a tattoo.

If anything bothers you - don't hesitate to contact me immediately! I'm available for you to help during whole healing process.
